You are invited to join us at our upcoming gathering!

The co-creators of A Mentoring Guide, Pam Edwards and Rob Loane, are excited to share what they are learning about adult mentoring relationships, mentoring barriers, and practical skills for cultivating deeper, spiritual conversation.

Spiritual companionship is at the forefront of our lives and hearts as we follow Jesus’ way. So this time together will allow for meaningful connection and space to gather after a long pandemic season. You will come away with some great tools to continue the exercise of paying attention to those God places on your path.

THIS IS A FREE EVENT!

Pamela Edwards, Ph.D., serves VantagePoint3 Ministries in the area of Adult Learning and Growth, with a particular eye on developmentally minded leaders—those people who live and breathe helping other people grow. She is co-author of A Mentoring Guide: Christ. Conversation. Companionship (VP3, 2019).

Robert Loane, M.Div, serves VantagePoint3 Ministries as President, seeking to both learn and encourage a more relational way of life and ministry. He is coauthor of Deep Mentoring: Guiding Others on Their Leadership Journey (IVP, 2012) and A Mentoring Guide: Christ. Conversation. Companionship (VP3, 2019)

The Mentoring Way Initiative comes out of the work of VantagePoint3 (VP3), an organization that is a catalyst to adults growing toward depth and maturity in Christ. This event is sponsored by people who support this value for community leaders and mentors in Kelowna and communities in which VP3 serves.

We have maps and map-makers ad nauseum in the North American church, what we need are a few more mountain guides, men and women who have been there before us on the journey.
